Some Craftiness

Here I have been doing some fun crafting and not sharing it with my dear friends! So sorry to leave you high and dry for so long.

To start off I have been scrapbooking. Have you heard of the Silhouette? It's fabulous!!! You can create your own designs and it cuts them out for you. It does way more then that, but I'm still learning. Anyway I used it on the layout below. Love it! I also created a fun Halloween craft using the Silhouette to cut out the faces. Plus a fun little picture to hang on the wall. I've also been crocheting fun hats and baby boots. Making holiday decorations and a few home decor items.

From Purse to Pillow

About two years ago I started on this purse as a birthday present for my cousin. I finished the front panel and then was stumped by the rest of the direction. Suffice it to say I didn't finish her gift. Jump ahead two years. We were getting ready to move and I stumbled across said panel. Wondering if I should just toss it an idea came to me. This is that idea...

Didn't it make the cutest pillow? I love how it turned out. My cousin finally got her birthday gift...just a couple years late. Anyway, I plan on making more of these.
