I've been playing with a camera!

While I have a long ways to go before I can call myself a photographer, I do enjoy taking some pictures and I'm grateful for family that lets me pretend I know what I'm doing.

This park provided a wonderful backdrop for both photo shoots. Thanks for stopping by!

Little Train Layout

With two girls I don't get the opportunity to scrapbook for a boy. However, I was helping my cousin with her book and was able to try my hand at it.
I loved how it turned out. Maybe one day I'll get a little lad of my own.

Had a little time during nap to create a layout. I used a mixture of American Crafts lines and some Pebbles product.
I think it turned out quite lovely.

I have not been scrapbooking lately and finally did a page last night. The pictures were taken by my sweet husband on Instagram. I printed them at home and got to work. It helped that I brought some new product home.
I love the hints of gold. What are you scrapping lately?

A little something for a wall

I made this for our Young Women's room at church. I love this years theme. If we do the daily things the Lord has asked us to do, then we can be our own holy place and that is powerful.

Some Craftiness

Here I have been doing some fun crafting and not sharing it with my dear friends! So sorry to leave you high and dry for so long.

To start off I have been scrapbooking. Have you heard of the Silhouette? It's fabulous!!! You can create your own designs and it cuts them out for you. It does way more then that, but I'm still learning. Anyway I used it on the layout below. Love it! I also created a fun Halloween craft using the Silhouette to cut out the faces. Plus a fun little picture to hang on the wall. I've also been crocheting fun hats and baby boots. Making holiday decorations and a few home decor items.

Scrapbook fever

For Christmas my dear husband gave me some (lots) for new product. I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. However I realized since we moved (almost a year ago) we haven't printed out photos. Which means I am drastically behind on my second baby's album. Good thing I'm in a mood to scrap. Here are a few of my latest creations.

The three above mainly consist of Amy Tan's line with AC. It's one of the lines Richard gave me. I love it! Below is mainly a line by Crate Paper. I love the colors.
I hope this fever sticks around awhile.
